About Kellye McElroy Smith
A Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Kellye Mcelroy Smith earned both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1983. She went on to obtain her medical degree in 1987 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed a post-graduate internship in 1988. From 1988-1992, Dr. Mcelroy Smith completed her ophthalmology residency.
Dr. Mcelroy Smith is Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She holds membership in the American Medical Society. She is also a fellow of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Mcelroy Smith has become one of the top ophthalmic surgeons in the area with an emphasis in oculoplastics, cataract extraction and adult and pediatric strabismus correction. Her cosmetic procedures include the correction of droopy eyelids (upper blepharoplasty) and ptosis repair. Dr. Mcelroy Smith also offers other cosmetic services such as Botox®, Juvederm®, and microdermabrasion.
